Creative problem solving at its wedding day finest Creative problem solving at its wedding day finest. Last weekend there was zero room to photograph the details where the bride was getting ready and all we had was a parking lot outside. Skip to turning my trunk into a car-studio and laughing about it all day. The light was great and you’d never know from just looking at the images. Thanks for trusting me @carieharrisphotography when I asked if I could just photograph it all in my car. 😂😂

What’s your favorite flower this season? Anythin What’s your favorite flower this season? Anything new grabbing your eye? I’ve never been a fan of roses even though I grew up in a house with 20+ rose bushes in the front yard. Over the last year I’ve noticed so many of these roses with fuller petals crowded into rose bushes and I think this might have become my favorite for the season. They’re so beautiful when they’re all together like that. 😍

Basically a year since I photographed @michellehk8 Basically a year since I photographed @michellehk86 in the @collectivespacestudios and I still think about that day regularly. Thanks for having me Sarah. 😊😊 . This particular image reminds me of something I tell clients all the time… expressions matter! What you’re thinking will show on your face and if you’re zoning out that will show too. Michelle has a very relaxed face here, but you take one look and you know she’s thinking about that baby boy in her arms with a sort of protectiveness. An image will show if you’re frustrated, unsure, bored, or just zoned out so my job is to keep your mind connected to the things that make you feel deeply and then to press the shutter. I think that’s why having your photos taken is so exhausting because you’re emotionally “on” for so much of it. . Expressions aside, this gown from @bella_maternity_dress_rental is on another level 😍😍 (as is anything @5054_vintage puts her hands on)!!
